 天使たちの楽園である天界に不穏な空気が流れ始める。
もともと平等であった天使たちに、大神ゼウスは、上位、中位、下位というランク付けを行い、能力による序列を成す。このランク付けに端を発し、心貧しい天使は、天使でありながら上位の天使を妬み、争う者まで現れ始めた。
その最中において、ゼウスはさらに上級天使の中から、理性を持たぬ動物たちを属性ごとに支配する六聖獣を選ぶという。
