Loyalty, pragmatism and dismemberment

Police procedural with the added complexity of being set in Nazi-occupied Poland. The main character is sympathetic and the ‘whodunnit’ is satisfyingly complex. Very enjoyable and I’m looking forward to more in the series.

Not a Polish Bernie Gunther

A great idea for a detective series, but characters are all one dimensional and plot has a 'twist' that is just annoying.
