About this listen
From #1 New York Times best-selling author Nora Roberts comes a trilogy about the land we’re drawn to, the family we learn to cherish, and the people we long to love…
Book Three of The Cousins O’Dwyer Trilogy, Blood Magick
County Mayo is rich in the traditions of Ireland, legends that Branna O’Dwyer fully embraces in her life and in her work as the proprietor of The Dark Witch shop, which carries soaps, lotions, and candles for tourists, made with Branna’s special touch.
Branna’s strength and selflessness hold together a close circle of friends and family - along with their horses and hawks and her beloved hound. But there’s a single missing link in the chain of her life: love…
She had it once - for a moment - with Finbar Burke, but a shared future is forbidden by history and blood. Which is why Fin has spent his life traveling the world to fill the abyss left in him by Branna, focusing on work rather than passion.
Branna and Fin’s relationship offers them both comfort and torment. And though they succumb to the heat between them, there can be no promises for tomorrow. A storm of shadows threatens everything that their circle holds dear. It will be Fin’s power, loyalty, and heart that will make all the difference in an age-old battle between the bonds that hold their friends together and the evil that has haunted their families for centuries.
Don’t miss the first two books in the Cousins O’Dwyer Trilogy, Dark Witch and Shadow Spell

Actually, these books are the first fiction I've listened to - I've over one hundred Audible titles, all non-fiction, and this is the first time I've felt inclined to leave a review.
I've binge listened and loved every single book. I've been putting off listening to the last chapter because it's the end and I can't believe how sad I feel!
I've become so attached to the characters, the places, the storyline, and I feel as tho they've become part of my world!
if you love magic and witchcraft, Ireland, horses, hounds and hawks, then you will be drawn into these books and you will love them!
A huge thank you to the wonderful Nora Roberts for reminding of the wonders of fiction... not since a child have I been so avidly absorbed.
And I should add - I am an initiated witch in a British tradition - I love so much of the research and authenticity that's gone into these books. 💜💫💜
The last in the trilogy - I'm bereft!!

Would you listen to Blood Magick again? Why?
I may listen to it in a few years but as my memory is good it is unlikely to be sooner than that. What other book might you compare Blood Magick to, and why?
I've thoroughly enjoyed this trilogy and I would compare it to other trilogies NR has written as it flows in a similar, comfortable way. What does Susan Ericksen bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you had only read the book?
Having a book read to you means you actually get to listen properly to a story. There are times I skim read a book just to get to the denouement. I much prefer an audiobook for that and Dusan does a good job of reading at the right pace for the story. Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
Difficult to answer this without giving away plot lines so I'll just say there are several moving moments.Any additional comments?
I would strongly recommend reading the other two books in this trilogy before this one.Great trilogy ending
