About this listen

An ancient mystery.

An impossible place.

An unimaginable adventure.

Professor Castillo's daughter has mysteriously disappeared into the Amazon jungle. Determined to find her, he begs Ulysses and Cassie to go with him. Unable to dissuade him and not wanting him to go on his own, they both accept to help their old friend in his crazy attempt at her rescue. The three embark on an incredible journey to a place that should not exist, the Lost City of Z. A journey nobody has ever returned from.

Unlike the first in the series that had an fairly original plot with a good pace and structure. This was clumsily written or translated, with a ridiculous plot where the characters kept repeating stupid mistakes. Full of silly cliches and a does she love me sub plot. I did like the narrator who as a native Spanish speaker gave the right tone and pronunciation. If you like these ancient culture Indiana Jones/Tomb Raider stories do your self a favour and skip this and listen to the Wilde & Chase books instead.

Clumsy derivative story full of cliches
