Una maestra de escuela que dejó todo para perseguir su sueño de cantar, a principios de los años ´90. Sus temas todavía se escuchan muchísimo: "No me arrepiento de este amor", "Corazón valiente", "No es mi despedida", "Sigo el ritmo" y tantos más.
Gilda era capaz de llevar su música a lugares donde pocos iban, como las cárceles, y establecía siempre una relación muy particular con el público de sus recitales.
Después de su muerte en un accidente en la ruta, varias fanáticas y fanáticos de su arte empezaron a contar que ella obraba milagros, le armaron un santuario y le piden favores, convencidos de que se trata de una santa.
