I've always wanted to visit Amsterdam! I was planning on going on a trip there this year and was looking for a travel guide. This audiobook contains iconic landmarks as well as the not-so-popular spots to visit in this city. If you are a first-time visitor, like me, or have been there numerous times, I am sure you will find use of this guide. What intrigued me most was that there were canals here and you can do canal cruises. I thought only Venice had canals. I'm not sure what it was, but the narrator's voice seemed robotic. Maybe it was just their style or how they speak, but increase the playback speed a bit and you're golden. Aside from that, this was a comprehensive guide and I am definitely looking forward to trying the local coffee and stroopwafels while I'm there! It even comes with a pdf file to go over while you're listening to the audiobook or to reference on your phone.

The audiobook comes with a PDF that mirrors the entire guide. This allows you to freely choose whether to listen or read, or to look at the pictures in the PDF while listening.
It includes a lot of tips and information and also provides historically knowledge about Amsterdam. I didn't quite like the narrator's voice, but at 1.05x speed, I found it better.

Planning on visiting Amsterdam? I've taken to listening to audiobooks because my commute is so long and I spend four hours in the car every day. While I mostly listen to fiction, I started to plan for my next holiday and was delighted that there are travel guides in audiobook format. Everything you need to know is here - must do activities, canal cruises and "coffee shops" are all covered. Very comprehensive, informative and useful.

I find this travel guide very helpful and detailed. This is a well researched thoughtful guide and I recommend it for anyone interested in traveling to Amsterdam. I love that the author warns to be careful while visiting but gives a great overview of things to do and precise places to visit along with the business hours of operation.

This travel guide for Amsterdam contains lots of great information about sights and places to visit, like museums, galleries, markets, river cruises, etc. It also gives detailed instructions on how to book, how to get there, and often also opening times. I found the guide very helpful. I have never been to Amsterdam, but it's on my list of places to visit, and I now feel I have a great idea of what I want to do when I go there - highly recommended if you are planning a trip to Amsterdam
