About this listen

There are many unseen threats in the ancient City of Bedley: disease, poverty, being absorbed by a book....

Anna Worthy, barmaid and secret scholar of the magical arts, finds herself in a race against time to find out why the books are behaving badly and what she can do to stop them. Will she succeed before the entire city becomes just one massive library?

Was looking for something short to read so picked this out. Enjoyed every moment. It was well written, well read and went at a good pace. It was entertaining and I really liked the fact it was an original idea. It was perfect length for this particular story and I look forward to reading more from this author even though this is not my usual genre.

Enjoyable
