Although this is a standalone story, I would recommend starting with Tempting little thief.

Story is a marriage of convenience, with some great twists.

Book is not complete. Final chapters missing. Rather frustrating when you have listened to 30 chapters!

Advertised as stand alone, which it wasn’t

Pretty boring and stereotypical. The guy could be a simple CEO or a gardener for how little I get a feeling of the ‘syndicate’. The heroine constantly Tells us how badass and crazy she is but apart from a very few instances, she’s meek, without a real growth story.

She’s exactly the same in the beginning of the story as in the end. Just a few bangs and noises in the middle but no real character arch.
