Jane is quite adamant he is unsuitable for her - but when his life is threatened by an assassin's pistol, it is up to her to help him escape from danger... and into l'amour!

Awesome!
I enjoyed The Poor Relation series very much. All the pomp and ceremony of it’s time. Not my usual listen but I’m so glad i took a chance on it. I’m a bit sad now it’s finished. M.C Beaton without any murders, was a delight! Read beautifully by Davina Porter, all 6 books! Thank you

A fun story
I did not enjoy this quite as much as the other stories but I wanted to listen to it in order to find out how the Poor Relations story finished. Great performance by Davina Porter.

Very good
I liked all the books and i was so pleased there was a final ending for them all a proper happy ever after
Davina Porter is the best she plays all the parts very well it was because she was narrating that i purchased the books

Enjoyed twists and turns
Enjoyed getting to know the many characters throughout the series - binged on the stories one after the other which I thought was beautifully narrated
