About this listen

Through amazing research and with his very recognisable style, Jaenada gives a comprehensive account of a 1960's 'fait divers' in France and tries honestly to separate truth and....the rest. As usual (and this reminds us of Pauline Dubuisson in La Petite Femelle) he has great empathy for those who get 'chewed and spat back out' by the system such as Solange Léger here. He investigates, puts himself in other people's shoes, lives his life and tells us about it which informs us of his own personal context at the time of writing. It's impressive and addictive.
