A remarkable achievement in travel and the only true insight into the everyday life of people living in the middle East. The journey the author takes is astoundingly dangerous and challenging and the characters he engages with along the way are honest and revealing.

This is my third book by the author and I wasn’t disappointed. It felt as if I was with Lev on his journey, and that I too was travelling through the Arabian desert. A fascinating insight into the people and places of this region.

I read this in the interest of learning more about Arabia. I didn’t have much knowledge on the topic prior to reading this and it was a wonderful read. The stories were told beautifully and it was very easy to put yourself there. Will definitely look out for more books by the author
