I loved this book. I was given a copy of the book on audible for an honest review. As a regular audiobook listener I'm fussy about my narrators and B.D. McMonnies was excellent. The book jumps from first person and Ace's POV to third person and Andromeda/Mena's POV and sometime's Phoenix's POV in third person. It's an interesting way to do it but B.D. Monnies pulls it off.To the plot. Again, like the first book, this was a love triangle and I couldn't help suspecting where this was going simply from the fact it was mostly in Ace's first person POV. And as a reader, I wasn't happy. But I was willing to let K.S. Haigwood and Anne Conley have their way and I'm so glad I did.
This book is full of action and twist and by the end of it my mind was all bent out of shape, but in a good way. And I could not believe the series ended that way. Until I realised that the chances were there was another book still to be released. And I've since found out there is another to come. I cannot wait.
These books are well worth the time. You will love the characters and you will root for each one of them along the way at different times. And you'll also want to smack them on the head at other times. I'm now #TeamAce all the way, if anyone was wondering.

I really enjoyed the first book of the series but the author took this to a whole new level!
Action packed, with so many twists and turns that I think I have ground my teeth into nubs
And that ending... Only a dark and twisted person (in a good way) could come up with such a premise
A must read!
