Poems by a grown up woman, with a sense of humour

A deeply personal journey through the author’s life in a series of poems. Intense, emotional, moving, laugh out loud funny in places. The wit is reminiscent of Wendy Cope. That said, it’s not all lighthearted; as in life, there are dark shadows and emotions here too. I absolutely love this little book and am looking forward to volume two. It’s a total joy to hear Lisa read her own work.
