Amber de Burgh is a novice of the Sisters of St. Ermengild, in training to take her final vows of becoming a nun. But when the doors to the church slam open one night and a wounded man named Lucifer, whom everyone thinks is the devil enters, her life changes forever.

Amber- feeling she must atone for her family sins she is wanting to become a nun with 9 more months of being a novice left until Lucifer enters her life and she showed him compassion and love.
I enjoyed reading/listening this entertaining and captivating story of a man growing up feeling unloved and unwanted not only finding his true love but the love of his mother. This story is well written with excellently developed characters who made the story including Maribel. Their story has a marvellous HEA
Narrated by Brian J Gill- who did a wonderful job of telling the story and a good use of voice animation for each person in the story

I have just finished Amber. Wow what a lovely book. The narration was excellent. Book was regarding a third daughter who wanted to be a nun, and a man, who was given to the church as a new baby. He was named Lucifer, by the priest, who brought him up and really treated him badly. The priest had sent him on a mission but he came back injured and Amber was ordered to care for him.
He immediately had feelings for Amber but she was a shy nun who was yet to be a proper nun, and her life was the church. This book was full of dirty deeds, thievery, underhanded tricks, lies and something going on all the time, and the priest was involved in it all.
Miss Rose you excelled yourself in this series. It has been wonderful. Now on to Amethyst, the last of the Daughter’s of the Dagger Series.
