About this listen

Alan Davies has gathered together four hugely talented guests to discuss whatever takes their fancy. Their only job? To come up with a title for the episode!

Coming to you from The Roundhouse in Camden, the show recreates the relaxed atmosphere found among bantering comics backstage. There are no rules, no themes and no preparation. All Alan has is a couple of intriguing facts about each of his guests, after that, the conversation spirals in all directions.

Alan Davies: As Yet Untitled – The Extended Podcast contains loads of exclusive extra stories and banter that couldn’t be broadcast on the smash hit TV show.

  • Ep 1: Chin Chin, B*tches
    Jul 27 2021

Tonight, sharp-witted stand-up, Sarah Keyworth opens up about not fitting in and being confusing; Brummie Darren Harriott brings his infectious humour to the table with tales of a trip to Croatia and why it left him naked and confused; Irish TV presenter, Angela Scanlon, has a number of apologies to make especially to Sharon and Rose who are in no way akin to their nicknames. Completing the quartet of funny guests is Dara Ó Briain, who still can’t fathom who he’s supposed to be and what he’s done for the cause.

Absolutely loved this podcast, had me roaring and I really hope there's more to come!

Hugh Grant - he's not a very good actor

This is a really entertaining show with great guests, some you will have heard of and some you may not, just sitting round a table telling stories

Simple concept, great show

Fantastic, easy listening, funny, silly and just… time off from being adult. We all need down time and this is perfect.. you might not belly laugh but it’s worth a chuckle

Brilliant

I must stress how much I love this show, but for the first time ever I had to skip over one guest.
Inane, over-privileged (and frankly unintelligent) drivel from a daddy-obsessive.
I can only imagine that pressure from some kind of political area was brought to bare to get this dire "comedian" airtime. Posh girl striving badly to appear "street" and failing.

Excellent, but sometimes a guest falls flat!

Absolutely loving this series. Perfect listening for my daily walks. As for downloading the episodes, I found the option by searching for 'Alan Davies' then after selecting 'As Yet Untitled' I was able to download each individual episode from the drop down list of options which is accessible from the 3 vertical dots located to the right of each episode.

Fun Show.... & Yes, You Can Download The Episodes!

You only need a good cast to makes this show great. Some stories are better than others, but the banter is even funnier than the stories. Too bad it ended so soon.

Absolutely hilarious

Just like the show that’s on Dave. But with extra bits.
If you’re unfamiliar with the TV show - It’s not a chat show, with guests there to promote something. It’s more akin to being down at the pub (or a party) with a group of entertaining friends, some of which you don’t know that well so all the anecdotes being shared are new to you.
I assume these are an extended version of what will be (or has been) broadcast on TV.

The show has been around for a while, and has never failed to be entertaining. I get the idea that it isn’t as well known as it deserves to be, so hpefully this deal with Audible will help correct that oversight.
It reminds me a little of the Graham Norton show (minus the movie/show/book plugging) in as much as sometimes there isn’t a guest on that I particularly like and so wonder whether I should bother watching - but then always end up glad that I did. A combination of excellent researchers, editors and a host who knows not to take centre stage.

Excellent anecdotal comedy
