Status Raisin and the Quiche of Death

Penelope Keith brings this story to life, it has a lot of fun scenes, but also a lot of self indulgent scenes which does not make her a very pleasant lady. I began to wonder why anyone wanted to help her or spend any time with her. The end of the book picked up speed so I'm left wondering about the next book!
