Read them all

If this was your 1st Linton / Trent novel, I can see you’d be a bit…. ‘Wah?” with Sarah’s past. But if you’ve done the distance with these characters….. this book is excellent

solid and Nasty

another solid Will Trent story, were you really want to punch those bigoted APD policemen.
Also good that Angie hasn't reappeared to muck things up.

great book BUT.....

oh my goodness, i love K Slaughters books. i love her depth, writing style, unflinching brutality and honesty, and even more.. the character development

this book was no exception. HOWEVER

the narration was THE single most grating , nasal, horrid narration ive ever experienced in audiobook listens. i will 100%never listen to anything narrated by thia person again no matter how much i want to know the story. it truly did ruin it for me and it was a struggle to finish.

Unexpected twist

Having read all of the Will Trent series so far looked forward to latest instalment. Wasn’t disappointed, Once again gained bit of back story to characters developing in to modern day, Interesting twist at the end which didn’t expect and wasn’t alluded to in build up. Look forward to next one

Excellent all round

I have read or listened to all of Karin Slaughter’s books, but my preference has been the Grant County, Sarah Linton and Will Trent series Very enjoyable, filled in gaps. Great twist at the end. Looking forward to the next one.

I read this too quickly

and now I'll have to wait ages for the next instalment. I have read the whole Sarah Linton and Will Trent series and this does not disappoint. Well written, excellent character development and a twist at the end that I was not expecting. This is the type of quality fiction that puts pressure on the author because the next book has to be just as good, if not better

Loved it

It takes me about 2 minutes, starting a new Karin Slaughter, to be sucked right back into her universe.. her plots, characters, humour.. there is no one in the same genre to equal her skill at all of these. I try to make them last but then get greedy and finish them way too quickly.. and immediately want to go back to the beginning of her series and start re reading all over again.
Anyway, I’m never going to get enough of Will, Sarah, Faith and Amanda. Loved getting more Jeremy and hoping for some more Aiden too..

Wow

This is really a great addition to the Will Trent series. This book was so well put together and I love that Sarah finally finds out what happened to her all those years ago.
Well narrated

ANOTHER HIT

Read all of the Sara Linton books and enjoyed again. I did work out the twist but still enjoyed. Wished the ending was a little bit more it seemed to wrap up very quickly.
