I first heard Gelong speak during an interview with Ruby Wax and so purchased this book, it's such an interesting listen. I have it permanently on my phone and I switch back between other books to get another hit of calm.
It's read in a matter of fact way with some great humour dotted throughout. I am new to meditating but finding it very helpful.

Commit to this practice for 3 months and watch your life change way beyond what you thought possible. The only fault I can find with this book is that Gelong Thubten is so modest that he omits to tell your life will change immeasurably for the better if you follow his recommendations.

I have been meditating around 5 years now and I’ve listened to a plethora guided material alongside 100s of podcasts. I’ve read numerous books and taken online courses on the subject matter of meditation and I was quite reserved about spending money on this audiobook. I am so glad that I did.
