Excellent Murder Mystery
Very well written, well performed Story of murder and teen angst. The main protagonist is slightly precocious but still endearing. A story of many good people that do bad things and bad people that are just bad.
Not just for “young adults” either. Recommend to older readers too

Fantastic read
Throughly enjoyed this book. I didn’t feel it was a book for YP. The story line and plot kept you engaged right up until the twist
At the end . Well worth listening too. The narrators were all easy on the ears . Overall a great book

well written
left crumbs for a reader to conclude who's the killer. for a teenagers who are starting their adventure with reading murder mystieries could be unpredictable. for someone who reads a lot it will be obvious from the beggining. i was surprised thou with a romance aspect. the relationship between a boy and a girl was leading into frienship category through the whole book and then suddenly at the end they are a couple? a was lost a bit there. ALSO there should be warning about pet violence...

Couldn't stop listening!
This is the first book I've ever listened to by Holly Jackson, but it certainly won't be the last! What a brilliant story. So well written, and performed. I was fully invested in the story and the characters, and couldn't stop listening wanting to find out what would happen next.
I liked that it's not too heavy, but it's by no means lacking in anything, and I felt it wasn't too predictable like some murder mysteries can be - it kept me guessing throughout!
I will definitely be recommending, and can't wait to listen to the second book.

I was hooked - it’s a tense story
Well-read and brought to life. Really enjoyed the book. Some adult themes touched upon (obviously murder but also sexual assault, so keep that in mind).
