And I will admit to shedding a tear. Having binged all six in a week, I feel quite bereft. Beautiful narration. A story that tells of how it was for those amazing people who went through and survived. Highly recommend

Absolutely loved these books

The characters were brought to life and I grew fond of the 3 friends, such a lovely read and Anne Dover is just right to narrate this series. Sad it’s finished and hope their adventures will continue in more books?

I really enjoyed this series but this final book felt a little light on new content with a bit too much remembering past events from previous books.

A good series, this is the weakest of the set

A most wonderful story spanning from 1939 to 1946 spread over six books. Beautifully written with great empathy and thoroughly enjoyable….

Is this really it? Surely more could follow on with the lives of their children as they grow… I don’t want it to end! Great narrator as always in Ann Dover. Zipped through this as it was so enjoyable and not so much recapping of previous books which was great.

From volume one to six of The Tobacco Girls one is hooked to follow the lives they lived and endured ,, the loves and incredible hardships they suffered in this horrific senseless cruel war.
How women’s lives were changed forever with their determination and courage to help beat Hitler . The Tabacco girls is a compelling read giving one an insite of womens strength , amongst love ,, caring, loss and the blitz etc. The friendships lasting for ever never to be forgotten . I loved all of them and lived it with them so good are these novels by Lizzie and amazing Narration by Anne Dover. A great read , don’t miss them.
