Enjoyable story, excellent narrator.

I’m loving this series. The recipes sound delicious a bit lost in the audio version, of course. However it’s all about the pleasure of listening to the enjoyable story, beautifully narrated by Zara Ram. I’m looking forward to the next book.

Brilliant but too short

Great story, but at just over 6 hrs found it too short. I like it when they are at least 8hrs and you can get lost in the story.

Nosey parker does it again!

Another great Nosey Parker storey, great characters who have come to life through the series, the narrator has a lovey tone to her voice, although the Liverpool accent is occasionally questionable!! These books are gripping enough to keep you engaged, but not so in-depth that you can't potter while listening, although I will say this one was slightly more predictable than the first 3 in the series, unless of course my detective skills are becoming a little more honed? can't wait for the next book, keep up the great work.

Missing the magic of being at home

I was so looking forward to going back into this world but was disappointed that we only had a couple of returning characters and a whole hotel full of strangers. Seems a shame to develop the characters and relationships over the previous books to then have what feels like a sitcom bottle neck episode with so many characters I had trouble working out who was who.

The almost complete lack of romance in this book, too, felt disappointing after being such a strong part of the previous.

It's still an enjoyable listen but I doubt I'll be listening again (like I did with the others).

Poor factual content

The alarm part of the story is rubbish the monitoring would be making calls to a mobile and making contact
Modern diesel would not be freezing in cars at the temperature in this country
Get it right and take the trouble to get small facts correct
