About this listen
Human remains and a lonely pile of clothes on the beach. Is it murder, suicide...or an impossible conundrum?
Detective Sergeant Norman likes the idea of a permanent home in the small Welsh coastal town. With his reinvented career invigorating him, he finds himself enjoying working for his younger female DI. But when she asks him to investigate a puzzling seaside suicide, his first job is to find the corpse belonging to the discarded clothing left on the sand....
With the deceased man’s remains presumed lost at sea, DS Norman believes his case has run up a blind alley...until local builders dig up a female human skull. And now with a pair of unsolved deaths on his hands, the dogged policeman’s work takes a tricky turn when he discovers an astonishing link between them.
Can the shrewd detective solve a complex puzzle and lay two souls to rest?
A Body of Confusion is the thrilling second audiobook in the Rejoiner mystery series. If you like determined police officers, intriguing crimes and twisted plots, then you’ll love P.F. Ford’s brain-teasing riddle.

Good story
Overall I enjoyed the plot but I found the narrator's delivery really difficult to listen to and probably won't listen to the rest of the series.

Loved it!
I really liked this book, the plot was full of twists and good characters. The narrator managed the tones of voice and accents brilliantly.

Just as good as book 1
thoroughly enjoying this series, I really hope that PF Ford has book 4 in progress as I am about to start book 3. Have not managed to put books 1 & 2 down until I finished them, so if 3 is as good as 1 & 2, that means I would have listened to all 3 in 2 days!

The development of a good team.
I like the relationships are developing in the story. The main characters are interesting. I found this story rather slow after the first book but still a good listen.
Will continue with the series.
Good narration.

Comedy narration.........
I bought this in the 2 for 1 sale. I got 3 chapters in and returned it. The narrator was sounded like a music hall compere - absolutely dreadful......the male voices sound like village idiots but the females were utterly hilarious. Im amazed by the good reviews!

So boring!
What an awful book. Story is tedious and unbalanced, characters are unrealistic and un-police-like as it is possible to be, procedures are inaccurate. Very disappointing

Worst narration I've ever heard.
What is going on with this narrator? Two people having a conversation so it's easy to determine who is speaking. However, this narrator is forever saying in a robotic voice "Judy said" "Norman said" "Judy said" "Norman said". The listeners are not idiots and can work out who is saying what when only two people are present. Please credit us with some sense. The plot is interesting but the 'Janet and John reading to school children' approach is unacceptable. I cannot finish this book and will not listen to any more in the future unless with a different narrator. NOT RECOMMENDED.

Terrible narration
The narrator ruined this book for me, he drops his tone every time he announces who spoke, and there are thousands of those in conversation exchanges. So annoying I couldn’t even finish the book.
