Fun book with lots of interesting factoids about Anglo-French history and some of the urban myths that exist. I definitely learned some things in terms of historical narrative that I was unaware of and also enjoyed the humorous way in which I learned some pub quiz trivia. It's of course biased but not horrifically so and the book is aiming to be a comedic group of facts strung together as a historical narrative and it also goes into detail about some of France's great achievements

Enjoyable and interesting

As a vote Remainer listening to this beautifully read explanation of why we have no option but to Leave helps with the pain and will help with the future angst.

My Favourite Book and it's a great listen too.

It's a bit like a long version of Horrible History. Learning through the use of humour. Kept me amused for several otherwise mundane journeys up and down the M6.

Totally enjoyed it

Brilliant history, mixed with superb humour and even some self deprecating fun. The French get a damn good going over in this.

Outrageously good!
