About this listen
Dommik was a monster, a Monster Hunter, and an alpha. Part of an elite group that dealt with the horrors of the universe. At least that was what everyone at the spaceport was whispering as he walked by.
A Cyborg, a hunter, a beast with eyes as dark as the pits of Hell and the stride of a predator. Katalina was a nobody who was intimate with death. It clung to her like a shroud, It followed her like the plague, and infected her like a parasite.
When she overheard that the Monster Hunter needed an assistant, she took the job. And when the Cyborg's eyes caught hers, she knew getting closer to death might just bring her back to life. The Cyborg didn't scare her. So she followed him and left fate up to chance.
Contains mature themes.
©2016 Naomi Lucas (P)2018 TantorIt is an interesting story and although some parts of the romance are bizarre the story is still enjoyable.

I don't know if it's just Hollie Jackson or voice editing, but so far I find she narrates too fast as if she just wants to get the story over with. I like her emtions, I love her voice, even her attempt at a male one ( it's great), but I have to always slow her down to -90 or -85 to enjoy her narration and story and then change back to normal when it switches to another narrator.
As for Alexander Cendese...lush voice when he narrates as normal. But when he tries to do female...not so much. I'd listen to him all day if he only did male voices, but I don't like his attempt at female voice acting. Honestly, I would have preferred Hollie Jackson to do it all because she can do a good male type voice despite her natural feminine one. Alexander just sounds wrong compared to other males I've listened to doing a female voice. I'm sorry, maybe I'm just used to listening to Robert Petkoff, Jeremy York and David Brenin, but I just wasn't satisfied with his attempt. That didn't put me completely off though. I enjoyed the book. Worth listening to.
