Loved the story and thought the Narrater did a really good job, but would have loved a male voice for the Jessie parts.

Ava and Jesse! This story is electric from start to finish. I also like the additional chapter at the end from Jesse's POV. Can't wait to start the next one.

This book just made me angry. An abusive controlling relationship tarted up as ‘romance’. It sets a dangerous view of what is ok and normal for young women. I listened to the end only because I wanted to find out if she told him where to go.
The metaphors were pretty terrible too eg “panting like a dehydrated dog” isn’t very sexy.

This man is believable his flaws push her away, but he is like gravity she cant stay away !!! The london setting is great makes a change to have a sexy english bloke as the hot lead character. cant wait for "Beneath this man" so come on audible lets have it !!

Jessie he wont give up he wont compromise he knows they should be together and he is prepared to fight for it>

What does Edita Brychta bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you had only read the book?

she made the story even better especially the gritty exchanges between Jesse and Ava her accent is modern posh british so when she swears its funny

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

I just want her to give him a second chance so bring on book 2

that's just it its a story not real life people tend to read book & think its not real life but when we were kids we read a book about a talking egg........... I'm not a bored housewife

I have been a huge fan of Jodi Ellen Malpas for so many years now, I have read and re read the This Man series many times and am an aude admirer of all things The Lord!!! It was thrilling to be able to listen to it as well now, I shall be purchasing the rest of the series on audible, if you haven't read or listened to these books and all the others from this author then trust me when I say you are missing out!!!!
