About this listen

Rebellious, green-eyed Eleanor never met a rule she didn't want to break. Sick of her mother's zealotry and the confines of Catholic school, she declares that she'll never go to church again. But her first glimpse of beautiful, magnetic Father Marcus Stearns - Søren to her and only her - and his lust-worthy Italian motorcycle is an epiphany. Eleanor is consumed, yet even she knows that being in love with a priest can't be right. But when one desperate mistake nearly costs Eleanor everything, it is Søren who steps in to save her. When she vows to repay him with complete obedience, a whole world opens before her as he reveals to her his deepest secrets. Danger can be managed - pain, welcomed. Everything is about to begin. Contains mature themes.

very well constructed story and the book has been written beautifully, which is not always the case in the genre.
it was hard to put it aside, it was a calm and relaxing journey that left me with a warm feeling

Would you listen to The Saint again? Why?

The Saint is a wonderfully written, thought provoking and moving story. Having already read this book I lost nothing in listening to it. In fact, I thought soren's tale couldn't get any better. Well, I was wrong! It's even better when you loose yourself is the telling of it.

What did you like best about this story?

The story of this little triad is without a doubt what grabs a hold of you from the beginning. As you move through the different books, you think it's one thing, but you turn a page and become somethings else.

What does Elizabeth Hart bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you had only read the book?

Her execution of the accents. It's really adds layers, history, and background to each character without saying another word.

Did you have an emotional reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Absolutely, I challenge anybody to listen or read this series and not have a reaction. And it's not always the most comfortable emotion.

Any additional comments?

A very well done all. And thank you for putting this out into the world.

Initially I was skeptical about having a female narrator for the male characters, but Elizabeth Hart does a wonderful job, and in my head she *is* the voices of Soren and Kingsley, as well as Nora. This is one of my favourite Original Sinners books, and Hart's performance brings the story to life beautifully, in all its intensity, sexiness, sassiness, and laugh out loud humour.

A fantastic listen!

This series was so good I couldn't stop reading. This book is my favourite, I loved to read how Nora and Soren met and how their relationships grew.

Eleanor, the protagonist, was fifteen years old when the story started, and for me, it has been a young adult read all the time, even when they had sex and even when they started with BDSM. I could not enjoy the reading because she was so young and immature that it was boring for me. I would have enjoyed it more if it had been an equal adult relationship. Also, the romantic side of the story is not my cup of tea, I expected it to be more erotic-focused. The author Tiffany Reisz uses simple dialogues and it has been an easy read. The narrator Elizabeth Hart has an appropriate soft voice.

a young adult story

This young woman has been tortured and totally mind-broken into believing pain is the way of true love.

This is such a first world problem, when life is too soft easy and cushy: Or a life without enough hierarchy type restrictions or responsibility or a life without good parental models, then the BDSM goes crazy out of control.

In my opinion the Saint should have become a pastor, married her when she turned 21, and both of them enrolled into therapy, just to kerb any violence that could easily escalate and/or lead to disability, death or dismemberment.

Nothing in life needs to be made this difficult/complicated… when you life long enough to understand balance in all things is just fine. Enough is as good as a feast.

Very foolish girl meets very violent grown man
