At first I couldn't get in the book thinking it was going nowhere slowly but OMG I love it.

The imagination of the author is brilliant. It's 05.20am and I've just finished it having been awake listening.

This book was really unexpected. Really spicy. Crazy spicy. I didn’t see the ending coming. Still can’t figure out how everything was possible lol. But it was a crazy ride

The story was really good until the end where I felt it just became rushed and lost it a few points for me.
I'll still be listening to book 2 because she'd a great author, just hope the story somehow continues.

It was definitely different & very interesting... I really liked that to understand the story better, I had to Google most of the paintings... that's what set it apart for me!

I mostly did enjoy it, with the exception of the nymphs bit... which did nothing for me whatsoever & it felt a bit ridiculous.

Also, I can't say that I loved the ending & that's why it gets 4 stars from me... I'd mostly guessed where it was going, but the conclusion did feel a bit abrupt & unsatisfying!

All in all, a love story it was not...

This was a great read, well written and narrated. A story of need which forces Mona downs road she may not otherwise have taken.

Completely grossed out, listening to a click click in the narrators throat, making me want to clear my OWN throat to get the sound to stop. Horrific. Ruined the book and I couldn't focus on the story, but yeah, not my thing.
Edit, read more reviews, and couldn't understand how everyone got past the clicking dry throat. So sped up narration slightly and could carry on listening without focusing on the click click click. Story became engrossing, and I'm so glad I carried on with it, it turned out to be a really great story, one I'm sad is finished.
