A nude man invades Luca Suarez's home and protects him from creatures who cannot exist. Creatures hunting him.

This is a beautifully written, intelligent novel with a good mix of intrigue, action, sci-fi and romance. And it’s always a pleasure to listen to the dulcet tones of Mr Graves.

Great story by Adrienne Wilder. The book reads like a lot of thought and work has been put into the world and storyline. This is not a romance, but a fantasy book worth reading, also when you're not into mm. We follow three characters throughout the story. At some times I really hate that about the book because I want to know what's happening with Nox and Luca. On the other hand, it keeps you on the tips of your toes and gives a lot of background information which you'd otherwise miss.
With regard to the narration: it tool some getting used to the voice of the narrator, but he absolutely nails Nox. Luca and Reese are a bit similar at times, but nothing too bad. As you might understand based on the title of this review, in my opinion this book is perfect! Go on and read it, you won't regret it.

Read the e-book twice, bought the hard copy, then also bought the audio book, that's how good this book is.

Not the typical shifter romance and thank goodness for that! Adrienne is a new author to me and wow, what a fantastic introduction!

I absolutely loved the twisty plot, the mysteries that got unravelled, the original aspects to the plot and the tied in romance into all the action.

Addictive and very hard to put down. Story made even better by Kirt’s perfect narration. Highly recommend and can’t wait to tuck into the next.

4 stars for this whopper of a story...hopefully, the first of many. Took me a while to get used to Kirt narrating, I kept expecting Ox and Joe, or Gordo and Mark ;-), but once I'd gotten into the story, I was hooked. There were quite a few errors word-wise, and I suspect that was the author's fault, not the narrators. I'm sure Adrienne knew what she meant, but that's not what was said [or probably written].
