Jasper is a famous rockstar and from the outside it appears he has the perfect life. Having to sing songs that only his record label lets him sing and having to have a public persona that is nothing like the man underneath becomes wearing. To top things off his publicity hungry ex-girlfriend has posted their entire relationship on social media.

Hailey has been assigned to clean up Jasper’s image through her employer. She was raised by her grandmother and dresses like she did but underneath is a woman who wants to help others, is a little naive and wants to succeed in her career.

Although he tries to keep her at a distance she starts to sneak around the walls that he has built around himself but will he let her know the real him? The performance of the narrator draws you in and has you invested in the characters and the story.

Rock star romances are one of my favorite genres and this start to the Managed series has me already falling in love. We previously met Jasper in the Entertainment with Jem series. He is the lead singer for the band Weeds, and is falling to bad publicity. Hailey works in public relations and has been assigned to help Jasper fix his image. But what will she be able to without falling for him? Jasper is a great character because he isn't satisfied. I know, sounds terrible, but he knows what he expects out of life, and where he is with his band is not what he wants. Hailey sees Jasper for who he is an not the rock star and for him this is refreshing. Hailey is just as much fun for me because she lacks confidence in herself when she is really an awesome person. Will these two find their way to love? Or is the public in their way? The cliffhanger for this installment is a tough one, be ready to load book 2!

Laurie West is fast becoming one of my favorites. Her voice for the characters is spot on and she can do an accent with ease! I am enjoying her portrayal of these characters, and love when we had the cameo from Jemma that she kept her voices consistent throughout both series!! Time for book 2 and more fun from Clarissa Carlyle and Laurie West!

Jasper is the lead singer of Jasper and the Weeds he tries to keep up a bad boy image although he’s not really a bad boy.
His GF posts explicit photos on his social media which leads to him losing sponsors and a PR firm is called in to try control the damage. Hailey Finch is your typical girl next door sweet and innocent but when she meets Jasper they both have feelings they don’t understand .
I really enjoyed listening to this although it’s only just over 3 hours it packs everything in and you are not left feeling you don’t have answers. Listening to book 2 as I write this and enjoying that as well.

I didn't have much expectations when I started to listen this audiobook, but I'm glad to be wrong! The story itself is not mindblowing, but it's cute and solid, with a lot of heart. I like the way their relationship progressed, how they meet and how they finally get together, it was believable and heart wrenching sometimes. I can't wait to listen the next book, what a cliffhanger!

Laurie West is a great voice actress. I usually have a hard time imagining a guy when a female actress is doing it, but Laurie West pull it off beautifully!

I received this audiobook free for an honest review. This author does a great job of telling a story and making the characters come to life. Hailey has a daunting task to clean up a Rock Star's image. Jasper's image is far different from his real character. A relationship between Hailey and her client, Jasper, is not allowed in her PR position. In comes many temptations for both of them. Those temptations put a wedge between them. Looking forward to the next book. The narrator does a great job with the individual personalities of the characters.

This is the first installment in the Managed Series, a Rock Star Romance. Jasper and Hailey's slow burn story is sweet and easy to listen to. This installment ends with a cliffhanger. Laurie West did a good job with the narration.

Managed 1 is a three hours novella that showcases the barriers inside and outside ourselves that we have to overcome to embrace a loving connection. Of course, the Rock Star world adds a whole other level of complications to Jasper and Hailey's emerging love story and throw in a psycho ex and we have no shortage of challenges.

Please note after this book I am bowing down to worship Clarissa Carlyle as the queen of cliffhangers. Powerful hook at the end to keep listening.

Laurie West did a fine job with the female voices. I was not so fond of her Jasper male voice especially as it was supposed to be a sexy Australian accent and that is my origins and not so much LOL

I received this audiobook for free in return for an honest review. This book was a guilty pleasure and a healthy injection of fun.

Loved listening to the audiobook, the story was well written and the characters are intriguing. Jasper is the lead singer in a rock band with a reputation of a bad boy attitude all his sponsor's are pulling the plug on their deals. Hailey works for Public Relations firm and she has been given the job to fix his image, things keep coming up to make him look bad.
The narrator was clearly spoken and easy to understand.

Managed one, is a fantastic rock star romance; it's wonderfully written with charming and likeable characters. The story is engaging, it caught my attention right away, I can't wait to find out what's next for Hailey and Jasper. Excellent narration by Laurie West, she portrayed the characters nicely, further immersing the listener. This audiobook was absolutely enjoyable, one I recommend.
