Story: Lauren (h24), a new receptionist at a luxury mountain resort, has a disastrous day at work and visits her boss, Owen (H36), at his mountaintop home to let him know about the disasters, including an actual fire. The two are instantly attracted to one another and Owen wastes no time coming down the mountain to claim Lauren as his. Ultra-hot and steamy mountain man goodness in this romantic quickie with a side of humor and a healthy dose of OTT.

Audio: The narrators did a great job with this story. The audiobook uses two narrators, a male narrator and a female narrator – for me it makes such a difference to hear male dialogue with a male voice and female dialogue with a female voice. Tor Thom again does an excellent job with the tone of voice he brings to Owen (a nice deep and soothing voice) and other male voices, and Fiona Clare gave Lauren a voice that seemed to capture her character, plus she did a great job with supporting female voices.

This is a fun insta love story. Lauren has her eye on the managers position at the resort. So when we meet her she is having a very bad day. This means she has to go up the mountain to tell her boss about her cataloge of disasters. as soon as they see each other the attraction is instant
This story has humour, lust , love and steam a quick fun listen. the narration is good.

This is a steamy mountain man romance. I liked Lauren and Owen share instant attraction, and sizzling chemistry. This novella is fun, sweet, and passionate. This is my review for the audiobook. The narrators Tor Thom and Fiona Clare. I remember listening to these duo for another book. But, Omg I could listen to Ttor read his grocery list or a receipt and I would love it, lol but they both bring the characters to life.

Lauren just started working at Green Mountain Lodge that is highly sought out luxury hotel. She wants to get the managerial position at the lodge and wants to prove to the owner Owen Wallis this. But he is known to be recluse, a grump, sexy as sin. But that day there was a customer complaining about finding a piece of hair in the bed and wanted to be comped to the must expensive room. But that room is for a travel critique. But all heck breaks loose when too many distractions happened. Her fellow co-workers don't want to help, a little girl mitten starting a fire. A Karen wanting a free room, a travel reviewer about to sign in. LOL. oh shoot things didn't go well. Now the following day she must tell Mr. Wallis what happened. When she went to his place, she saw the sexy owner chopping wood, tatted up, man bun, and the cover model of this book nailed it. OMG. yes please. Anyways, when Owen Wallis sees, he immediately is drawn to her. Will Lauren lose her job after she explained what happened? find out more...

Practicing to apply for the manager's position after 10 days of employment does not include setting a child's mittens and lobby curtains on fire. But it does make you have to report to the owner and tell him of the multiple mishaps. This is the start of a steam and feisty adventure. Performance was very good. I love Mr. Thorn no matter what role be reads. Fiona is right behind him. Good storyline. no cliffs

This has translated really well into an audiobook. The chapters fit well into my drive to work and there is not so much complexity that you lose where you are between stops. The characters are engaging, light-hearted and well done. Perfect for relaxing with.
Lauren has not long been at the Lodge but she loves it there and is working hard so she can apply for the managerial position. There is a fire which she goes in personto tell her boss as she was part of the cause. Owen hated the city, he made his money and moved away. He still feels like he is waiting for something if only he knew what, then all of a sudden he does!.

In the "real world" almost nothing about this story would be realistic (idealistic, yes, but not realistic). It's SO insta and over the top, but it's utterly delightful for exactly those reasons. The narration was also really good. I loved the whole thing.

When she meets this man he is shirtless, chopping wood and let's just say handsome was an understatement.
