Anvil is a rough, muscled bouncer working in a roadhouse. Sarah is a type-A, risk averse actuarial major with her whole life mapped out.

*Anyway - totally safe romance - HEA, no cheating, hero who wouldn't dream of looking at another woman after he sees Sarah. Trust Auntie Brill. It's a crazy story, but it's so much fun.

Not gonna lie, I picked this up because I like Kale's voice but was actually pleasantly surprised by the story for being so short. Of course , you need to leave the realist in you at the door for this one, but the story is crisp and well paced.
Well worth a listen if you need a quick romp!
I thoroughly enjoyed the performance too! Both Lisa Zimmerman and Kale Williams bought this short to life!

The H even comments about how unsexy that sounds, but trust me, the Steam Is Real! Bounced is one smexy standalone, even though it is listed as part of a series, but that is more in theme.

Its short, its hot, its insta-love at its finest. It all just works. No violence or cheating drama. HEA plus epilogue.

This is my first time with author Brill Harper. She wrote a sexy short with substance that makes me want more.

This story is performed in alternating POV of the two main characters Anvil and Sarah . Kale Williams and Lisa Zimmerman are new to me but they make a good team.

I didn’t notice any issues with the audio production. I listened at 1.00x speed.

Audiobook obtained at my request and I am voluntarily leaving this unbiased review.

A great short story about an OTT protective and possessive Alpha male and a good girl who lived her life with a strict plan, one night she lets loose right into the arms of Anvil and her life gets tipped up side down. Lots of humour and steamy banter, the narrators did an excellent job making the characters come to life.
